15. First of all if u analyze the proccesor and its functionality u will see tbat the 720s custom built morado cpu gpu will render pixels blatently faster and have a higher frame rate per second with a clovk speed of 3.89 ghz and 8 ddr3 ram tbe xbox is obviously superior

17. Green-ray? That would be worse than bluray. And, the actual color of the laser is violet, not blue, because it’s a higher color on the color spectrum.

    Xbox will never play bluray, because it’s Sony’s, and Sony has a ton of patents on it. Bluray discs will be able to store up to 500GBs of space, which is plenty for the next gen. It’s also much cheaper for Sony to stick with bluray.

22. Hi Guys, one thing the new ps4 MUST have is a option to connect and play 3d (sterioscopic games)
    Make slightly bigger controllers, i know its made for all ages, but we as adults dont have small hands and slightly bigger is a good way to go. I still think disc is te best option to go by, maybe shipping these new units say with standard 1tb hard drives. Ability to connect to wireless audio devices, like home cinemas, so i can play m games, where i can connect my wireless home cinema to it. One thing is a must, its a stretch but to be able to use 2 screens when multiplayer, it really suck playing with your friend on a split screen locally. Can this issue be solved. Surely ou dont want that lame ass microsoft people to do this first and actually come up with something they thought up by them self for once and call it their own. I know sony is and will always be first in innovation and i would love to see it been kept this way, not using stuff other people are already used to it. Keep it up, im looking forward seeing great things to come

33. you know im not as biased as some of you guys who only have a ps3. I have a ps3 and a 360, well actually im down to my 6th 360. Thats why I like Ps3 better. Microsoft makes their consoles out of fucking paper mache. I mean its a a great system and i love xbox live and the graphics are ok but the system it self will break for any fucking reason. I’ve had 5 rings of death and one just fucking crashed after i put in a copy of street fighter 4. My first ps3 is as good as new. I have to say the graphics look crisper on the ps3. Its much more convenient to watch Blu-ray movies than to go out and buy one. Microsoft wont bother with blu-ray because they know sony is going to do something new. thats a heads up for playstation lovers. Do i think we should go digital on the games? HELL NO! I might have a good fiber optic connection but thees nothing better that hearing the whizing disc as you play. But i think the playstation store came in handy for DLC packs add-ons and demos. Overall I hope the PS4 kicks x-boxs ass.

35. i dont like to leave comments on a ps3 website about the xbox website but… who the fuck cares on “the battle” between the ps3 and the xbox? there both great systems each having there own unique flavor and touch. online may cost money on 360 but it is way more organised and in my opinon way better in the internet depart ment. i am an owner of both systems so i would also tell you that the ps3 is only better in color in graphics department. 360 has less pixels showing up ( the trees in cod look way better from a distance, jest example) and in my mind way better games( halo, gears,) but the ps3 has games that i dont really like ( sorry, yes i dont like god of war, uncharted and resistance) but the ps3 is way more reliable because i have sent in my xbox in like 2 times know. my point is that its up to the player and which games they prefer. o and buy the way what is up with the ps3 fans and absolutely spamming the page with fuck you 360 lovers? all i see 360 people say is that ” i hope to see microsoft wins.

36. I own a Wii an Xbox 360 and I have to admit that between them the xbox 360 wins, though the Wii graphics are pretty good,the down side is that their arn’t any real good games for it. The the winner between the PS4 and the Xbox 720 is a tose in the air we wont know how will win tell its already over. I am persionly routing the Xbox 720 to win but they will have to get their act togather, and in this i mean free online play(or at least cheaper) and a longer life span. 38. I think it’s funny how these forums pop up. PS3 > 360 and vice versa. It’s so silly really. I own both systems and I’m happy with both. They both have thier flaws that I hope are corrected by the release of the new systems. The failure rate of 360 is insane. That has to be addressed first and foremost. Also, the 360 needs to get some more opriginal IP’s in the works that are console exclusive. As for Sony, I much prefer the online experience with the 360. Basically what I mean is that I love the 360′s party system and the ease to jump from game to game while keeping in contact with friends. Oh, and Sony will be soon adding more online features which will also come with a monthly fee. Now you can choose to keep your online experience free, but then you wiull not be able to use the new coming features.

Also the 360 didn’t use any cutting edge technology, like Sony does. Why Because Sony is more into selling high tech electronics, whereas MS is more into software and OS’s.

49. The Ps3 has been gaining ground quickly for the past year. Playstation is learning a ton from this generation and will definitely dominate the next gen consoles. At first the xbox fanboys thought their console was better but once you get into the technical side ps3 OWNS! And brilliant dev teams like naughty dog and guerrilla games figured out how to use that kind of power. The thing that hurt sony the most was the late launch. Then it took time for developers to figure it out and they said it was difficult to create games. This time around they will know whats coming and that it will be difficult but totally worth it! 51. You stupid *****! You don’t know the specs of the 720! And what makes you think it will be more powerful than the ps4? I can tell you that the 360′s processor does 72 gigaflops whereas the ps3′s does about 240! This pattern is likely to continue if sony improve cell-be. It is rumoured that MS will use Intel larabee processor which is due for release when all the bull about the i5 wears off. The ps3 doesn’t need a successor yet – it’s still stuck playing 360 ports! What it needs is a screen you wear on your head that can be tracked by the PS move system, or just a MEGA good game. If you read reviews of best all-time games you will find N64, PS 1, SNES, PS 2 etc. but no PS3! make an amazing RPG or something.

    Trend-watcher Cymfony surveyed 18,000 blog posts and message boards and discovered that positive Internet discussions about HD-DVD were 46% higher than for Blu-ray. “Negative Blu-ray conversation indicated a lack of consumer trust in Sony, as well as gamer displeasure with selling Blu-ray in association with PlayStation 3,” Cymphony’s Jim Nail told Reuters.

    Sony has displayed no public concerns about Blu-ray. Many people bought the PS2 specifically for its DVD playback capabilities, so it is possible the PS3 will see great success if consumers choose Blu-ray over HD-DVD.

    “The likelihood of people using PS3s as DVD players is significant, particularly when you’re talking about millions of consoles Sony expects to sell,” Andy Parsons, a spokesman for the Blu-ray Disc Association said. “Blu-ray’s here to stay

114. Lets wait for sony to say ok we are working on the PS4 and actually see the specs before we judge them. Theres also the fact Sony dont want a repeat of the features being removed of there next gen console like the PS3. Give us Backwards compatability for all playstation branded games including PS2 and PSP games and a HVD drive that can read both DVD’s Blu Ray discs and UMD discs. The higher ammount of availibe games in the game library which includes all PS1,2,3, Portable games will have tons of developers jump ship including Xbox 360 developers as well. That will help Sony win along with new PS4 games. Make the PS4 an ultimate Playstation console and give people something that microsoft cant even in the future. Once they do all this they have won within a year or release

119. Fun factor wins sales. Xbox 360 outperformed PS3 in the most important fun factor in today’s generation…online play. Yes you pay for Xbox online, but it’s an almost flawless experience. PS3′s experience is mediocre at best. Friend’s lists, chat, private chat, gamertags, gamerscores, messaing, all combined to deliver a better online than PS3. People who wanted online left to Xbox, while people who still play RPGs (which are now slowly dying, as online is taking over) stuck to PS3s. Ps3 is actually more powerful than XBOX, but THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE IN GRAPHICS OR GAMEPLAY. PS3 WAS EXTREMELY OVERRRATED AND EXTREMELY OVERPRICED.

120. Hello… as a proud owner of both i think the ps3 and x box 320. I think the Sony will win out on power there are already rumors that ps4 will be more powerful. I think the ps3 runs better now and that they always one up Microsoft on consoles. This is the last time i buy a Microsoft console. I think Microsoft nickels and dimes you and Sony you pay a little more out of the gate but thats all you pay for. I can’t count on how many headsets i bought for my x box. The chargers for your controller. Microsoft itemize everything making you pay more in the long run. No matter what MS does this next gen i will be going back to Sony or just build a PC but that another story. If you add up the cost of this new system and the amount it will cost to buy a new one int he future it will cost you how much money. 60 bucks for x box live now and to the math that is 600 that you can used to buy a new system the next ten years. Thats if MS doesn’t up the price in that time.
