As the size of games and content grow, this will limit the number of games you can play on the XBOX 720. I own over 100 games for both consoles. How would I do that in the next generation on the XBOX 720. If I want to go back and play Rainbow Six London in 2015, years after it came out, I would have to redownload it again on the 720. It made no business sense to continue making that console for years, as Sony did with the PS2. They indeed learned their lesson and did not make that same mistake with the XBOX 360. The PS3 and XBOX 360 will stay on the market, after their successors are launched, as long as they are each still profitable. Once the profit stops, they will cancel production. Business decision.
